Is politics just a load of old rubbish?

I'm going to get lines for this posting twice in the General Discussions in one night . Anyway who else thinks that our great political system just a load of old rubbish ?

There's lots that's rubbish about it - a lot of the techniques used for marketing political parties really turn me off. However politics is hugely important....It's just the way it's practiced by some.

It's a load of old rubbish. Lies told by those in charge, unrealistic miracles promised by those who aren't in charge. Been like that since forever.

 

But it's better than the alternatives.

But I do think it's corrupt - we need only to pause and reflect on the incredible life of Mr Blair.......Now there's a head that would look much better adorning some gates!!

Distinguish 'politics' and 'political system'.

'Politics' merely means 'advancing one's policies'.
