Robbie Loving
Fuel prices go down, fares go up, how does that work? Some fares have decreased. But it is clear they are trying to stop the bus drivers running out of changing by rounding all fares to the nearest 50p. But you're right, the prices should have all been rounded down to the near 50p as fuel prices have plummeted. Perhaps a simplistic view.
RollingJ
Reading the full press release, FSY are to introduce more NEW buses into the network - they cost LOTS of money and they have to be paid for somehow. Also, re fuel prices - the bus companies 'buy' fuel in advance at the best price they can negotiate - if they are still paying over the odds following the massive recent fall - well?
