Does whoever the presenter is put you off watching the programme?

Ben Shepherd (wooden) can't watch Tipping Point and never watched Daybreak when he was the presenter.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughbooby put me off watching This Morning. I only watch it on Fridays when it's Eamonn & Ruth.

When these presenters are on a contract the Channel uses them so often to get value for money - and they rarely change them no matter how boring and predictable they are to us.

 

I wonder what their criteria is for choosing them in the first place:D

Chris Evans on the radio 2 breakfast show really gets on my nerves. I prefer it when Sara Cox stands in for him.

Not a presenter but whenever John Motson is commentating on M.o.t.d I turn the sound down because of his rambling on.

Mark Lawrenson and Ray Stubbs - whenever they're paired together on commentating on football matches they're like too old women bitching.

 

Willie Thorne and John Virgo - Pair of misery guts. I laugh when they comment on snooker matches; they just criticise all the shot selections of the top players. If Thorne and Virgo were so good they'd have been world champions several times over.

I have always enjoyed Homes Under The Hammer and think Lucy and Martin are really good presenters. However now with the ex footballer Dion Dublin presenting as well, I find it hard to watch. He's wooden, has no charisma and he always sounds like he's reading off a card. He's awful.

 

Homes under the Hammer is dreadful. I think Lucy and Martin are perfectly suited to present it....Like Phil and Kirsty from that Location programme - really smug, and annoying.

Jeremy Kyle is horrible to his guests, can't believe no-one has mentioned him yet. A really nasty piece of work. Trisha was so much better, even if she did talk about herself too much.

I didn't like Chris Moyles on Radio 1 - he thought he was great. I think he's on Radio X now....Oh dear, how sad, but never mind

 

Don't like Carol Vorderman - she's another one that got too big for her boots.

I didn't mention Jeremy Kyle as I don't watch the show, he always appears very aggressive I've noticed if I catch him when changing channels.

Could never stand Fiona Phillips though she seems to be on a lot less now thank God.Agree with some of the above but don't have a problem with Graham Norton & Jeremy Clarkson.

I always used to really dislike that Christa Ackroyd, the presenter off Look North. Thankfully, in the last few years I've not seen her at all on TV.

 

Her put-downs were thinly disguised proper insults, especially in regard to 'Paul the weather man'.
