I started at Brook in 1977 left in 81. Bloomdido- are you the geezer that used to live at the bottom of Willow Drive/Hall road and play drums? SheffNiner Posted October 13, 2006 Share Posted October 13, 2006 I was a skinny, hairy denim youth in appearance, me and my mates used to live on Maple, other guitarist Neil lived on top of Willow Drive, so used to pass close to your house on way to bus-stop. We never asked you to drum for us, as you obviusly knew what you were doing and we could hardly tune the guitars up. we had a terrible teenage band c.1980/81 and take it in turns to reharse at each others houses when the parents were in the boozer, one of them was on Handsworth Ave, so as none of us had a car we had to schlepp all our gear by hand, for 3 hours of practising then back past the White Rose- which wasn't a barrell of laughs at closing time..
