Phanerothyme
The inestimably brilliant Magic Flight Launch Box has improved my life an iota or two.
tinfoilhat
Internet porn. (On a more serious note - a desire to learn). Having been on the other side of that counter, I'm sure shopkeepers up and down the country are glad to see the back of that awkward transaction. Bought it for the stories my arse. Waldo
If these are improvements to your life, how did you live before you breathed and ate? I'm being obtuse. I have, as far as I can remember, always been a breather... When I am just relaxed and aware of myself breathing; I tend not to occupy myself with petty worries and concerns. I suppose it's not so much the breathing, as the absence of anxiety. Does that qualify as an improvement? All these natural things, I find I benefit from. Running (and exercise in general) just makes me feel good, most of the time. Eating; hmm, there's room for improvement; but eating good quality nutritious food, that's my plan... Olive
Having started out life in a home where handwashing everything was the norm I have to say the washing machine must be the greatest item that has improved life for me and I guess most people. I started off with a twin tub and graduated to an automatic which reduced the time taken to wash and dry anything. I saw a documentary a year or two ago where an economist credited the washing machine with doing more to emancipate women than any other invention. I wish I could remember his name. Anyway, I don't think it's an unpopular theory, Hans Rosling has this to say about it
