Quik
So theft is okay if you're more powerful? It's not a moral absolute that to steal (and kill in order to make the stealing easier) is wrong? Theft is clearly wrong. But while theft may have occured in the context of certain empires in general they were an exchange. What have the romans ever done for us had a serious point behind it. Wandering on land doesn't give you ownership of that land, so if someone builds an house on land you once wondered over doesn't mean they stole it and it doesn't give you the right to attack them. Are you arguing that they didn't, or that it was morally justified?
Scozzie
Yes its probably about 50% do you know how much of the UK is habitable? 50%? FIFTY percent? Roflmfao. Where are you getting your information from? Try 10% And once a year, a proportion of that 10% is flooded or on fire.

Under who's laws? Do you imagine that laws that we make up apply elsewhere? Anyway - you are also demonstrating a deep ignorance of what a nomadic culture is in an effort to justify the historical theft of their land. Why are you so desperate to not acknowledge that Australia was invaded and the land stolen?

Of course they invaded them. They then protected them and provided improvements. Its a trade off.

I know precisely what a nomadic culture is, Australia was settled and the nomads attacked the settlers, the settlers fought back and people died. Do you think it is morally right for so few to have so much whilst so many have so little?

sutty27
You know nothing. I clearly know more than you, just look at a map of Australia and you can see that only the interior is uninhabitable, that's about 40% of it. Nearly 20 per cent of Australia's land mass is classified as desert. Edited April 4, 2016 by sutty27
