The threat from terrorists trying to launch a nuclear attack that would "change our world" is real, President Barack Obama has said.

There's some danger of Islamists getting their hands on one or more of Pakistan's nuclear weapons, but delivering them to a Western target would be another matter. I think they could only ever use them on the back of a truck which would limit them.

 

I read that the USA has a plan to recover Pakistan's nuclear weapons if it looked like it was all going tits up there.

If only that were true. Obviously, primitive people could never invent something like a nuclear weapon, but money can buy a lot, and Pakistan has nukes. Pakistan is a country full of Abduls!

Obama has scaled back all of the USAs foreign 'adventures'. His foreign policy is far less aggressive than any president since probably Jimmy Carter.
