Should USA be seriously concerned about N Korea now?

Recommended Posts

Anyway further to my original post from 10 months ago it`s starting to warm up a bit now that there is finally a President with big enough balls to take some action.

President Donald Trump will be forced to deal with ongoing threats from North Korea as that country gains the ability to threaten the continental U.S. with a nuclear strike, an official said on Sunday, hours after Pyongyang fired a ballistic missile into nearby seas.

What do you expect the US to do in terms of action?

Invade?

Bomb?

Nuclear strike?

Haha, comedy gold, keep it up!

Don't think she can. That particular made up entity seems to be on the banned list.

Strange isn't it that the big old US didn't put North Korea on notice like they did Iran, I wonder why?

Or Saudi Arabia...the country that spawned 9/11

People forget that the big fat man in charge is still a dictator, and like any other dictator has one over-riding fear.

Losing power.

They can develop a nuclear bomb, but in reality if they ever used it the Americans would flatten the place as they have a thousand nuclear bombs.

It's a no-win situation, and one that will certainly end in Kim loosing power, the one thing he holds most dear.

Not strange at all. North Korea doesn't let people in and out in the same way Iran does. It's a closed society. The US would further its own interests by encouraging emigrants from North Korea in order both to weaken the economy and regime and get intelligence on society there.

The US hasn't put Iran 'on notice' anyway. Tr

Trump's foreign policy positions and statements have not been belligerent in any theater including the Middle East. He's keeping his cards, if he has any, close to his chest there.

Which wouldn't be unusual. Obama's foreign policy wasn't much if anything different to what George W. Bush's would have been either.
