Isabelle
You should filter past a row of slow moving cars in the summer on a motorcycle. It may change your attitude. Some of them are shocked and try to swerve out of the way it never occurs to them to check their mirrors. the worst ones all have a sat nav in front of them. If you were on the other side on your bicycle it might cause you injury. Mobile phones are more of a distraction than sat-navs. There are many drivers who pick their phone up as soon as they slow down in traffic (or even before). The other day someone pulled in front of me into the lane I was in without much warning, when I looked at his wing mirror his eyes were looking down into his lap the whole time. Even if they're not looking at their phone, some drivers don't pay any attention to their mirrors when in slow moving or stationary traffic. That's why I don't like filtering when cycling, or riding within a door's width of parked vehicles.
