Cheers Most of the big hotels do 'em......Grovenor, Novotel etc. For the past few years we've hired a coach and gone out to Castleton for a meal at lunchtime, a few beers in the afternoon and then back on the coach for a sing-song and then back into Sheffield for the evening session. The food tends to be far superior and much better value.

shirty30
We sometimes have our work do at Sheffield Wednesday's footy ground, you get a sit down meal and a disco. And last year the Sheff Wed staff even let us hire some mobile casino tables to set up in the room to make the night a little bit different. Was a Good Night all round:thumbsup: . Elphi 24
Sheffield united do them (and the big hotels) but with that number may have to team up with other groups. Whitley hall do a nice xmas dinner but a bit far, they will put on a disco tho. Cutlers hall put on a nice do too.
Sheff Chick
We went to Whitely last year and a major complaint was that it was too far and once the meal was finished there wasn't much else to do (the dance floor was tiny) Thanks for the others tho
