alchresearch Posted April 27, 2016 Share Posted April 27, 2016 It might be worth seeking out a club dedicated to your particular type of boat, they might have arranged a discount. I know that when I used to use my kayak on the canals, it was far cheaper to get my licence with a membership to the BCU (British Canoe Union) than it was to buy it from British Waterways.
