GreenyGreen
Hi all If someone's on bail, would there be a reason why the Police would say they'll pick and drop that person from their house? I thought the suspect is supposed to make their own way to the station? Thanks in advance.

GreenyGreen
The person in question makes amazing doughnuts? lol Answering properly though, This person, do they have mobility problems? Nope. They're absolutely fine. I'm just wondering whether they think he/she might do a runner. But having said that, the person in reference has been on bail for about 3 months without any conditions. I did think of that too but figured it may be unlikely outside an episode of the Bill. I mean, the police really wouldnt care if they did a runner unless it was a serious crim, in which case the person would have been remanded or had conditions placed on their bail. Its a strange one ill grant ya.
999tigger
Why dont you contact the police or ask the person themselves?
GreenyGreen
Why dont you contact the police or ask the person themselves? The person is puzzled as I am. And I'd rather not 'bother' the Police with this particular query. I doubt I'd get an answer.

I don't think they have a choice. If the Police say they'll come and pick you up, I'm not sure anyone would be able to refuse.

Maybe in China you cant refuse but unless you are being arrested or you are in imminent danger you have no obligation to go with a police man/women just because they tell you to.
