What are those little black cameras popping up everywhere?

I'd have thought it to be some kind of light (or lack of) switch that turns the light on when the light diminishes to a certain level. Maybe one lamp post controlling several others?

That can't be as the lights on the road where I live come on at different times.

They also know exactly where everyone has been. That's not so worrying with our current relatively benign government, but if ever our government turned more oppressive then we'd have a lot to be scared about.

The little black sensor on the top of the lamp post, will possibly switch on the lamp at different times as they are light sensitive. For example, a lamp post

positioned in the shade of trees would switch on earlier than one positioned

in an open aspect.

I do not believe that a camera is part of the set up, due to the cost of

of hundreds of cameras, one on each lamp throughout the city, would be immense.
