Not unlike Manifest as in it has a plane going missing (series 1) but there the similarity ends. Influenced no doubt with the disappearance of flight MH370 plenty of intrigue and clever twists. Definitely worth watching. Series 2 similar probably too similar but centered around a train derailment. Again lots of intrigue, twists and turns. Well acted throughout including a very poignant last scene with Christopher Plummer. RIP. Schmigadoon A Musical Parody of 'Brigadoon' & daft enough to be watchable. Excellent scenery, Period Costumes and tongue in cheek humour throughout without the Rat a Tat Tat of Machine Guns Enjoy.

top4718
Watched The Missing with James Nesbitt, its good but stretching things a bit with 8 episodes. Currently on the second episode of the recent Time, Sean Bean is excellent in it.

OK I know its not rip-roaring'ly funny & you certainly won't find extraordinary special effects but there is an innocence in the humor dating back to some of the Ealing comedy's or even a vague nod in the direction of the Carry on films. Good clean fun, No Rat a Tat Tat of Machine Guns but moments to laugh along with. Keep safe, Binge responsibly On being accused of not wanting to sleep outdoor (because he's scared)...... Rockers rule
Netflix. The Defeated (aka) Shadow play Started watching this some time ago till for some reason we could no longer access sub titles. No problem now Netflix have it. Set in post WW2 Berlin where the French, English, American & Russians all want a part of the City, an American Cop is on two missions, one to find out who is killing Ex Nazis and two finding his (troubled) elder Brother. Black-marketeers, Espionage & plenty of Rubble throughout alongside a great set of characters to follow. Excellent first series and definitely worth watching. Keep safe Binge Responsibly
tinfoilhat
Loki. Smashing production values, hints of Fallout 3 but I wasn't overly impressed. Nice to see Owen Wilson off the settee and doing proper telly, and I like Sophia de Martino. Lots of time travel/timeline stuff but the umbrella academy does that sort of thing much much better. 7/
Guest
(D)evil's Throat: Djavolskoto Garlo Bulgarian mystery series currently showing on E4. Surprising good and doesn't get boring. A police commissioner and NSA agent investigate a string of murders that appear to have a connection- with dark secrets uncovered.
PRESLEY
Shameless US, I prefer the American version, obviously the storyline runs parallel with the English version but the Amercans use more imagination and are far far better actors. wearysmith
Binged the 2nd series of 'Back To Life'. 6 episodes in one sitting. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/p0757vxm/back-to-life It's still not funny funny - but it was compulsive viewing. All loose ends tied up, so probably no 3rd series (which would be a shame).
