Are Northern folk generally thick?

If Northern folk are thick, the replies that you get won't make sense. If they aren't thick, they will probably recognise an uproveable, loaded question and move on to a thread about Cyclists setting off Chinese lanterns whilst skipping red lights.

 

Perhaps it is you that is thick for asking the question*. Or maybe I'm unbelievably thick and I've misunderstood it. Either way, we are both northern folk, so that might go some way to answering your question:D
