unique
On Saturday the 23rd of July, we once again return to Bloo88 for what has become (for many) a highlight of the huge Tramlines Calendar. It is always tough for us to think of ways to improve on our previous events, considering each has been full to capacity and thoroughly enjoyed by all that attend. Getting our heads together, we decided to utilise the space and numbers that attend. This year we will be maximising all 3 areas, the terrace, downstairs bar and once again the upstairs lounge. To add, we also have two headliners covering the terrace and upstairs loft. We proudly present; Terrace (Deep House Music) James Benedict [Large Music/Delve Deeper Recordings] James has had an incredible few years in the deep house scene. He is one of the most upcoming UK deep house DJ/producers releasing on heavyweight labels including Large Music (U.S.), Madhouse, Blacksoul and of course, our very own Delve Deeper Recordings. James Benedict is a regular name in various Deep House Top 100 charts – and for this it was quite fitting that he was names as one of the Deep House Top 100 artists of 2015 via Traxsource. To listen to James' music and various mix recordings, check out his Soundcloud page via; Support on the terrace comes via Delve Deeper founders Liam Connolly & Jenny Fu, Dan Metcalfe (Bed) Dave Platts (Delve Deeper Recordings/Lisztomania) Marcus Williams (This Way Up) Jamie Williamson (Dalen Light) Louis Clarke (Reel House FM). Upstairs Loft (Disco/Funk/Soul/House) Groove Assassin [Defected/Delve Deeper Recordings] Sheffield's very own Groove Assassin has been at the forefront of the Soulful House scene and a true Global ambassador of quality music for many years. His early production saw releases on the San Francisco based iconic Deep House Label 'Transport', fast-forward to present day and he has released on the biggest labels out there from Defected, Kingstreet, Room Control and Delve Deeper Recordings). He has also travelled the Globe with gigs in clubs such as Cielo (New York), in front of the Petronas Towers in Malaysia and rocking the infamous Southport Weekender. Support in the upstairs loft comes via; Dino (Bed/Chuff Chuff) Solid State (Society/All Out War) Dave Hardy (Jus'House). Rounding off the event we will be utilising the downstairs bar which has been packed from start until finish on previous years. We will be installing addition sound system to compliment the existing. Here we have selected 3 great Sheffield DJs who cover deep house to soulful house and always excel; Paul Wiltshire (MuSol) Duncan Allott (Seven Hills Soul Boys) Shaun Hayes (D3EP). As ever, this is a completely FREE in event which we expect to be very, very busy (to say the least).
