Eurovision Brexit

Time for the Brits to be blown out of the water again in the pop music stakes!

The continentals seem to love to take a political swipe at us when it comes to this musical farce despite having produced some of the greatest pop/rock in the world for decades.

What's betting we are in the last 3?

Cameron will ensure we win! ;) Then we will all fall in love with Europe and vote to stay.

Personally, i would rather squat over a nest of fire ants with my dumplings swinging low, than watch this crap.

Haven't you worked out that it's not a conspiracy where all the foreigners gang up on us Brits. The truth is, we do not want to win it, so we enter absolute rubbish into the competition. If we won, we'd have to host it, and hosting it costs lots of money.

Wash your keyboard out.

. How did she not win?

Incidentally, I taught Lindsey everything that she doesn't know about Chemistry. She's a lovely lass.

I'm not convinced, maybe they put someone in every once in a while who can hold a note, for plausible deniability. Let's face facts though, we not entering our premier musical performance artists are we.

Until Radiohead are let lose on Eurovision, I won't believe that we take it seriously.

In recent years Britain has had poor results at the Eurovision because of how the voting system works.

You can't vote for your own country from within your own country, but you can vote for your own country if you're in another country, so because there has been lots of movement of EU citizens, particularly eastern Europeans moving to western Europe, they're using this to their advantage, while Britain suffers due to there being relatively few Brits in other European countries.

Ireland did so well for so long because of all the Irish people in Britain Germany and Spain.

I'm not viewer, but we've had englebert Humperdinck, blue and Bonnie Tyler amongst others if memory serves. They can hold a tune if nowt else. Hasbeens yes but I've no idea who or what they were competing against.
