Bob Arctor
I like the way she described the Labour MPs as 'hypocrites'. That took some front.

sutty27
Its hypocritical for EU supporters to complain about an elected MEP using the system that they support, the system is there for everyone not just those that support it.

So you believe that it's hypocritical to point out hypocrisy? Nice bit of Smithylogic there. Just like your previous piece of wisdom, that it's bigoted to oppose bigotry. No, but it is hypocritical to support the EU yet whinge about an elected MEP using the system, the system is there for everyone not just those that support it. Gamston
The lady has no choice but to accept the rules and regulations the EU inflict on us which she doesn't agree with, so likewise if she can benefit while the UK is still in the EU from regulations, immunity etc, then good luck to her. Similarly good luck to her if she benefits from a cheaper mobile phone bill as a consequence of UK's membership of the EU.

She has a choice and chose to invoke the rules despite what she said having nothing to do with her role as MEP, she'll get her comuppance.

The UKIP representative is being a massive hypocrite though, as others have said, by using an institution for her personal gain, whilst at the same time opposing the right for others that use that very institution. It seems that the UKIP representative principles do not run that deep.

Slagging off your political opponents is very much part of politics, its sad but a reality, UKIP have been on the receiving end of much of the nasty comments, this time it was Labours turn. RMBC have been found to have covered up and ignored child sex abuse, its not much of a stretch to have the opinion that local MP's new about it. ---------- Post added 18-05-2016 at 08:47 ---------- The UKIP representative is being a massive hypocrite though, as others have said, by using an institution for her personal gain, whilst at the same time opposing the right for others that use that very institution. It seems that the UKIP representative principles do not run that deep. The difference is that she would gladly give it up and is fighting to do just that, the hypocrites are those that support it but whinge when someone they don't like uses it.
