Berberis
Didn't Farage say he was going to resign if he didn't win a seat at the last general election? All cut from the same cloth. He did didn't he, but the party asked him to stay. Technically he did as he said.
panzer1
Yes but that was not a belief that he had held for decades. It was a stunt that backfired on him.

tinfoilhat
He did, we did not accept it Ah, there was a vote or ballot of some sort. I must have missed that.
geared
Ah, there was a vote or ballot of some sort. I must have missed that. Probably because the Labour leadership mud-slinging contest was taking centre stage. Apparently Lib Dems also got a new leader - who knew?? :hihi:

foxy lady
Agreed but over something so fundamental to his character. If you listen to all the anti eu speeches and votes he has been involved in you would never have thought he would turn so easily or quickly. The interesting one will be Trident. The party manifesto called for the renewal and replacement of Trident. The Labour MPs are in favour of the renewal of Trident The trade unions are in favour of the renewal of Trident. But Corbyn is vice president of CND. How's that work? It won't end well.
panzer1
Fair point, I think he will abstain from the vote.

But you take such a keen interest in UKIP ---------- Post added 26-05-2016 at 16:31 ---------- If I vote for the Kippers, will you promise to shut up and go away? Or will you be like Our Nige' and never, ever stop bothering me? This is all of what I wrote Labour are rotten to the core, corbyn just one of the 95% of labour members that have destroyed a once great force for good. Better off without him? We are better off without labour. Wake up and join UKIP Cutting my comments away, misrepresents
