Parking sensors in Sainsburys car park Halifax Road

Recommended Posts

Still unsure as to what these could possibly be!!!

Tried google and no joy

Someone has explained it above. They allow the store or whoever know how many spaces there are left in the car park. So when a car parks over one, the number goes down. That's how I understand it anyway

You go in the car park, park your car above or below one of these sensors, the display on the board as you come into car park '..... SPACES' reduces by one. Move you car away from it, the number increases. Handy at Christmas so you know to turn round before getting stuck behind somebody who thinks that sitting in the middle of the 'aisle' will magically create a space for you.
