I know I'm fairly late to this discussion, but I hadn't made my mind up until yesterday about which way I was going to vote. I'm pretty sure that lots of people are still undecided.

I have to say though, that I made my mind up in spite of the campaign - not because of it. The quality of the debate, from both sides, has been **** poor.

Late too.

I'd decided not to bother, then the antics and arguments of one side of the debate, which I found frankly childish and pathetic, swayed me to the opposite side!! I won't say which side I mean.

Gordon Brown the other day, uttered the most extraordinary words I think I've ever heard come out of a politician's mouth when he said "Europe protects Britain from the conservative party".

Think about that for a minute.

It does, but you haven't quoted what he said properly or in full context.

Wow...he's right, it does, but you have to quote what he said properly.

Do you not see the blatant immorality of that argument?

If the British people vote for low taxes and low spending, or whatever the Conservative party of the day offer, then that's what they should get.

Likewise, if they vote for socialism or whatever, that's what they should get.

Otherwise the whole thing collapses in a pile of crap.

Immorality? Have you gone stark raving mad?

If there's a Brexit it's likely Scotland will continue to vote for the SNP. That keeps the Tories in power in the UK as a whole and unless boundaries change it will do for some time to come. Who represents the North of England's interests then?

There is nothing immoral about pointing that out.

But the point is moot because Alan Hartley didn't quote Brown properly!!!

well look on the bright side if Scotland split off from the uk labour would have a better chance of winning.

labour don't seem to have the right policies or attitude to be able to win an election at the moment sadly.
