You know, it is very hard to argue with you. I shall try in, what Geert Wilders calls language for the common man.

Your country has rules to stop companies only advertising jobs to people that do not live in your country.

The EU also has rules to stop that.

So what you are saying is that there were illegal things going on.

They already were illegal anyway.

You did not have to leave the EU to stop that from happening. You could have told your country to do a better job stopping it.

People in other countries no longer need British companies to advertise abroad. Many foreigners know when and where there is certain work available here through various ties they have with people already here, whether that be native brits or their fellow countrymen/women.

Would that be because there is a lot of work in this country?

what if the local people don't want the jobs?

there is anecdotal evidence that local people don't want to do some jobs

A lot, possibly most, migrants that come here to do certain jobs, such as seasonal fruit picking etc, are short stayers; they come here for a limited time to earn what to them is really good money, it goes a long way in eastern europe.

Most British people however are stuck here, where the wage for that type of work doesn't go far for them at all.

This is why migrants "do the jobs British people won't do".

To brand British people as feckless and lazy compared to migrants is an over simplification of the situation.

fruit picking and harvesting are not what i mean. OK, regional distribution centers (rdc) a very large one in Bridgwater Somerset one of Morrisons largest is overwhelming eastern European. In area of 10% unemployment .
