The Enclopaedia Britanica article says this: Collaboration with the Germans in their occupation of Norway during World War II established his name as a synonym for “traitor.” So he collaborated with external powers to the detriment of his own country. And Mr Cameron is alleged to be doing the same. It's different in some ways, yes, esp. as there's no war on at the moment.
