ukdobby
You would have thought that the authorities would have investigated the women after a couple,to let her get up to 17 and taking them all off her shows they turned a blind eye into helping her. davyboy
It could be that the poor woman was mentally sub normal (or as we used to say 60 years ago, simple) Social services should have been involved much earlier to help her.
alchresearch
I'm hoping she really doesn't have 17 kids, more like three or four, but they were removed numerous times, making the figure 17.
Mr Miyagi
What happened to Birth Control ? Pretty sue she didnt use any. ---------- Post added 15-06-2016 at 10:18 ---------- I'm hoping she really doesn't have 17 kids, more like three or four, but they were removed numerous times, making the figure 17. I hope you are wrong. Being taken into care once could screw up a kid let alone multiple times.

Branyy
Just a thought - would be a sterilisation such a bad thing to consider? I know it's extreme but there already have been cases of law ordered sterilisation of men.

El Cid
Just a thought - would be a sterilisation such a bad thing to consider? I know it's extreme but there already have been cases of law ordered sterilisation of men. A US charity says it has paid 26 female drug addicts in Britain to have contraceptive implants or coils fitted. Project Prevention gave women initial payments of £60 and a UK charity now wants to trial a similar scheme. The charity had controversially offered to pay addicts £200 to be sterilised when it launched in the UK in October. They get my vote. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12666325
