I'm a legal practitioner helping businesses (and people, too!) with intellectual property rights matters, in the UK and beyond, from initial assessment through to enforcement (litigation) with all stages of application, prosecution and registration in-between. Rhino hide, and an aptitude to constantly overdeliver after underpromising despite clinical levels of overconfidence, are musts. But it's far easier on the heart than yours, Bob. It can be a bit bleak at times but we are very good at it so we get a lot of really nice feedback from people who tell us what a big difference we've helped make in their lives, which is the kind of thing that gets you out of bed in the morning. I also co own a construction company that works in curtain walling - gives me nothing but stress!!! blackydog Posted June 23, 2016 Share Posted June 23, 2016 IT specialist, only been doing it 4 years but have got to quite an advanced level, like the job, hate the hours (12 hour shifts) but the moneys good. Couple more years and i can afford to retire or at least work better hours or part time. As TINFOIL says "stay in school", i messed up school and it took me a long time to get back on track.
