Will somebody please hurry up and purge the Blairites from the Labour party, so we can finally have a political party that supports ordinary working class folk like me? I know somebody mentioned that UKIP were the new party of the working class, but the kippers are now redundant following the referendum vote. I suspect you don't as you describe yourself as working class. If Labour get elected, they're going to take money from you and give it to me, notionally so that I can provide the public services which you ought to have whether you want them or not. Oh they'll also give a bit of it back to you with "government money" written on it, but people like me will get most of it. So.... Thanks. I cited the example of the large part Owen played in defeating the government over tax credit cuts. This is a man who sometimes manages implementing Labour policy from the opposition benches. If you think this country really needs is a government which will collect more money from working class people and give it to middle class public sector workers like me. Is that caring and sharing?
