Anna B
On radio this morning (sorry don't know which station,) saying that there's a demonstration in London, (outside HoP I think,) supporting Jeremy Corbyn, and telling him not to resign. UP to 4,000 ordinary people apparently.

UP to 4,000 ordinary people apparently. Im not so convinced. From what I have been reading the majority of this protest were all waving banners and cards from SWP, SA, Momentum and a handful of other fringe protest groups. Rent a mob doing their usual bus trips down to chant and wave. VOTERS is what he needs not pre-arranged protest groups and rent a mobs. The man is dead in the water and he is dragging the party down with him.

What's with the 'rent a mob'? Do you think ordinary people have no right to peaceful protest?

unbeliever
What can't he stand in? Have I missed something? I think he needs the backing of a minimum number of MPs in order to get on a new leadership ballot. I forget how many. Or perhaps it's a reference to the fact that Corbyn has yet to fight a GE.
