And the mess that we are in was caused by the banks, people are not happy that we are being turned over by the establishment, people are slowly waking up.. the_bloke
Corbyn isn't bringing anything new to the table. He's trying to challenge 2016 issues with 1983 solutions, ones that were rejected en masse by a public far more left leaning than now.
Crosser
Looking at Eagle, Corbyn AND Smith, I have to ask............ Would I vote for them to represent the UK? (OK I know looks are SUPPOSED to be irrelevant), but the three of them look like scruffy ex (out of date) Student Union reps to me. How could you take them seriously on the world stage? "Here's Mr Obama, Ms Merkel and Corbyn/Smith in all their sartorial elegance" ... I think probably not! Even Yasser Arrafat looked more "the part" than the Labour lot! Penistone999
People were not living in austerity then, whilst the billionaires fleeced the country... Different times Comrade Corbyns far left ,militant , raving mad form of Socialism only appeals to militant trade unionists , CND and the socialist workers party. It will never win a general election. Its the 21st century , and there is no place for Corbyns idea of socialism.
