The consequence thread (Brexit)

Recommended Posts

We did have a really bad recession in 2008. It's been over for quite some time now here. Strangely enough not over yet in Greece. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the single currency. Nor do the problems in Spain, Portugal and Italy. It'll surely be some kind of mad coincidence.

but none of em jumped headfirst into the recession?:help::loopy::suspect:

I think will be worse for a while.

Don't get me wrong, I hope it's not. Tinfoilhat inc has battened down the hatches but we are susceptible to the waves of the economy as any other small business connected to the leisure industry. I can't up sticks to Germany or wherever so I'll have to hunker down like the everyone else.

Right or not, the people have spoken.

Are UKIP dead now? They cease to serve any purpose.

Boris the Pro-EU man will take charge now Anti-Cameron has left the building. He'll negotiate a very EUy deal is my guess.

That will upset a good number so Labour (under their new leader after their failed socialist experiment) will win in 2020 and everything will pretty much stay the same for everyone.

Oh, and statistically, since the referendum closed, 950 Leave voters have died.

Not exactly worldwide, but certainly widespread. Some countries got through it largely unscathed, others had a small contraction and then recovered. Some (like the UK) has a large contraction, but still recovered some time ago. Some were in the EURO. For them it never ended.

THAT was my very first thought this morning when I saw Farage on the telly lol

Surely they deserve to be included in the Brexit process. After that, I expect them to dissolve unless the UK does something nutty like joining EFTA.

but not ALL or even most Euro countries so you need to look at the underlying factors of why they still suffered more, when others didnt, i dont think it can purely be down to the Euro

Are you happy about that? If it collapses now do you think we are immune to the fallout?
