Anna B
I know of people who are having their support packages cut by 80%. The more disabled you are, the worse the cuts, but it is sadly quite hidden, most people have no idea of the impact of the cuts on those who need the most support. Totally agree. I know someone who works in benefits with seriously disabled people. Their lives are being turned upside down. Decisions take months and the results are by no means guaranteed or even approaching fair. The stress and worry alone is making them ill. We're talking small amounts of money, probably not much more than an MP's weekly bar bill - which of course he claims on expenses, but to the recipients, the difference between being able to survive, and not. -Then they have to go through it all again in 2 years... It's a disgrace, but too many people are blind to it, until it happens to them.... Edited June 26, 2016 by Anna B
