Sheffield council let down again

according to face book reports they made a mess of the Sheffield show as well nothing but a funfair/hotfood dayout with low attendance,but the days of top bands and top acts and the cash to pay for them have long gone,should of gone on a different direction like other top events in Sheffield,ie western park,lowedges,graves park.

 

my mrs, son and his girlfriend went to Sheffield show , they were there less than 45 minutes . all said it was pathetic

I think that they were expecting the council to spend its very limited resources on booking Coldplay to headline the Sheffield show; and on a special banner to put in Anthony Tapp's garden, notifying him personally of all events in the city.

The arms forces day in Sheffield was last Saturday rest of the country did it yesterday why are we always a week early ?

IS anyone else feeling let down by Sheffield Council who once again didn't publish event for Armed Forces Day

 

No. I might feel let down by my council for all sorts of stuff, libraries shutting, respite care being denied to people, public toilets shutting, cutting down trees, a general apathy toward their electorate...but, no, not feeling let down by your inability to google and find out what was going on, both last Saturday when they paraded through town, or this Saturday either.

None of which has any bearing whatsoever on the OP's inability to seek out this information for himself.

 

Perhaps a representative of the council should start a thread regarding how let down they feel that their residents are completely incapable of showing any initiative?

Wow, imagine the outcry on here if they did that. Waste of money etc etc...

 

May I suggest if you and others cared so much about the day and knew it was coming up, you would have gone looking for the info in advance.

 

Not every lamp post but how about on the main routes into the city Ie A61 in both directions and down the parkway up by the M1
