Well the Leave campaign has reneged on their pledge to give the £350 million to the NHS already.

Theoretically that 350 million could be spent on the NHS if a government so wished. Not likely I know, but the point is it isn't going to the EU.

What do you mean it itsn't going to the EU???

News last week said it was going to the EU either way, we'd have to pay it for access to the EU market.

Like it or not the EU will get it's money.

I don't think that many of the Leave-voting people voted for 'theoretical' outcomes.

And, in equal measure, I doubt that they'd settle for less.

I believe that this explains why Mr Johnson, Mr Farage and cohorts have been so busy distancing themselves from the Leave campaign claims and positions of leadership ever since the morning of 24 June. They're smart, they know full well how this particularly cookie is going to crumble, and they really don't want to get caught out with any of the crumbs.

As usual, I'll welcome any alternative, plausible explanation. For now, I can't think of any.

In the meantime, I believe that this floating '5%' of Regrexiters is those Leave-voting people who have since realised they were being sold snake oil.

EFTA and EEC members pay a fraction per capita of what full EU members pay.

And every other promise they made has turned out to be a lie.

The other 95% are still to figure that out, but might only do so when it's far, far, too late.

What pledge? PLEASE tell us who said that and when.

All I heard was Boris saying we pay 350m to the EU and that money could be better spent on things such as the NHS, which has been wrongly accredited to Farage time and time again on here, and someone has even still got something to the effect of this as their signature even though it's been pointed out to them that it's wrong.

I never heard any pledges from anyone that they were giving 350m to the NHS and I'd love to see who said this and when.
