Bernard22 Posted March 18, 2017 Share Posted March 18, 2017 hi .im just getting used to this modern tecnology. ive been reading the memories of the springs. just to keep this opener short.im bernard dewsnap of 22 beatrixe place. my sister is barbara she lives in aystralia. the families i remember are the smiths.whites.walkers.moodys.hopkins.crookes.tankards.billy beach.hackets.knieftons.proctors (landlord duglas).christains.beaumonts.kerrigans. pete proctor.greaves.mcshanes.ida woolen.walthoe.baraclough.mrs.naggs.battens.carrs.dalamore.skadowski.bob newton.just some that come to mind.ill probwrbly remember more .hope all the old parkwooders are keeping well .ive got plenty of good memories of our forgotten village. bernard22. Bernard22 Posted March 19, 2017 Share Posted March 19, 2017 this is my 3rd attempt. did carol walker do her book about parkwood?.also does anyone remember lillian mcdermott she maintained the gas lamps.also george hitchens and mr bright they had pigstys..i recall taking peelings to mrs hitchens on vale rd and getting a small bag of sweets. we moved from beatrice place to 61 vale rd opposite carol walkers.i have many more memories about the springs it definitely was somewhere special.i will post more.
