geared
Makes looking for a used car a whole bunch easier if you can see it's previous MOT history at the click of a button.
Gamston
I think it is good of the OP to start this thread because not everyone is aware that MOT history can be checked online. It certainly is a very useful aid for anyone considering buying a used car. I only found out last month that MOT history could be checked online, even though I was aware that checks could be made online see if a vehicle has a current MOT. geared
They have changed the system to make it easier, IIRC when it first came out you needed the logbook number for some weird reason - so not many people used it. Now you just bash in the registration and it's away.
*_ash_*
That's useful. Good for checking mileages too. It shows all the fail reasons too.

Isabelle
I didn't know you could look at the MOT history that easily! Just looked up my bike and found out it has more miles on it than I thought (probably a new speedo?). Its done at least 40,000 miles as opposed to the 11,000 that the clock says! In which case you have been ripped off. Did you buy it from a dealer?
