Bottletop
Contactless is great, so much easier to use. My only gripe with it is the machines at the tills - a lot of them just aren't clear enough about if they accept contactless or not. You end up standing there with your card against it looking like a lemon when the cashier says "Oh, you have to insert it there..." I generally end up using the slot and pin most of the time instead of contactless because of this.
TimmyR
Contactless is brilliant and should be embraced by all. The small risk that someone might steal your card and pay for things will only result in you losing a few quid (up to 30 quids) and I'd imagine they be risking being seen as most contactless points will be in shops with CCTV. ---------- Post added 22-07-2016 at 14:38 ---------- Contactless is great, so much easier to use. Bottletop
TimmyR - What? Talk to someone!? Surely the whole point of these machines is that I never have to talk to any shop riff raff every again! And I think you'll find a lot of the machines have no indication on them they are contactless at all. If that was easily visible I wouldn't have the trouble in the first place...
