I think there is a clear sadness that an elected representative should behave so very poorly and then pass off his behaviour as "a joke".

Democracy is when people make a choice on FACTS, not LIES.

This is not like a general election where you get to change your mind every 4-5 years. This is peoples entire life being changed on the backs of lies and with the help of racists and bigots.

When compared to actually ordering people to kill hundreds of thousands if not millions of people, it is insignificant. Like comparing farting in a lift to murdering a kid. Neither are acceptable, but the first one is insignificant compared to the 2nd.
