bethanywalke
id be surprised if this is true.. ive found sheffield university accommodation fairly reasonable compared to what some of my friends pay at different unis
crookedspire
I don't believe Sheffield is more expensive than London no way. Iv been to London and I know some people who live their they all say the same thing London eats money they would love to pay Sheffield prices ! Euan Antona
As a student in the city, I know to go to certain venues because they're cheaper - I don't personally find Sheffield particularly expensive!
Dannyno
Again, read the actual report. It wasn't actually a survey of how expensive a city town was. http://personal.rbs.co.uk/personal/life-moments/student-living-index.html
Cyclone
*Cost-effective rating is calculated as the average local weekly student expenditure on living and accommodation costs divided by average local weekly income for students. It's a fairly meaningless measure.
