carosio
like many things some are better as in medical knowledge and a person worked and didn't need government top up to pay there bills, but then you had quieter roads and the pace of life was slower, but the funfairs, galas, festivals are for many the same as in the past ,just a few new rides added which has always been the case, and don't forget that we wouldn't be able to offer 2/300 vehicles at classic vehicle shows in those days like we do at lowedges and all over England,so good and bad as its always been. Ah, but we didn't need classic vehicle shows then, they were on view everywhere! Even in the 60s, there were plenty of post war models running around. bassett one
well that's true, but its nice to remember the vehicles of the past, nothing is really new in most cases its just re-invented the kiddies rides were around but many were turned by handle bet that was hard graft, they had dancers and dog shows, icecream, candyfloss and bands, medieval re-enactment so what have we gained at galas ect, since the 60s? so nice to look back through tinted glasses so to speak.
