Scozzie
I looked up just in time to see a bird fly into the window pane. It is sitting on the ground outside and tge amount of fluff makes me think it is fresh out of the nest. It can walk around and the poor thing is crying. I'm worried tge neighbours cat will get it. Can young pigeonlings take flight from tge ground, or shall I put it somewhere higher? ---------- Post added 20-08-2016 at 20:02 ---------- It's OK. It's got itself away. spilldig
Try to keep an eye on it for as long as you can in the hope that it recovers. We have had pigeons fly into our windows three times now and they have always recovered after a while. Twice it was because they had been panicked by a cat the other time for some reason it was an upstairs window about three o'clock in the morning. mikeG
We have a pigeon in our garden which has had the feathers on its head pecked off by other pigeons. A permanent bald patch. Its as though its a form of bullying.
