But what do you make of this

Lots of comments suggesting its extremely unlikely, e.g.:

"Commentators are predicting a backbench Tory rebellion against the bill and with May only holding a wafer-thin majority in the Commons, "room for parliamentary manoeuvre could easily be restricted by a relatively small number of rebels", says The Guardian. Several prominent Tories have already voiced their criticism, including former justice minister Ken Clarke and former attorney general Dominic Grieve QC, who warn the move could undermine the rule of law and risks putting the UK into conflict with the European court."

Is this just a random thread where you pour out all the worries in your head in one place so you can refer back to them later when you forget?

Your immature rants are more suited to the comments section of political youtube videos. Maybe you should head over there...You will feel right at home.

I seem to remember you also royally spat your dummy out on here when the Tories won the GE.

Maybe if you talked about your problems, you wouldn't want to kill everyone. :hihi:

Why are your surprised by this? The majority of the country voted for it when they voted for Brexit. The UK couldn't scrap it while still in the EU. Now that we are leaving, it makes it far easier. Who needs human rights when we can kick the foreigners out?

OK thanks nightrider!

That sounds more reassuring :)

The Human Rights Act has nothing to do with the EU. And repealing it won't allow anyone to be kicked out.

What is immature about the attitude RootsBooster?

Oh, I dunno. Maybe it was the combination of;

- Posting a link that ridicules Owen (again, someone who I'm neither for or against), which has absolutely nothing to do with this thread topic whatsoever and wasn't in response to any related post

- The faux/sarcastic pity for him

- The combination of laughing grin and party banana emoticons
