I suppose the most frightening aspect of JCs tenure as labour leader is that he doesn't seem to see winning a general election as important. Such is the problem with having a leader who thinks politics is about protest, that come the disaster for labour that will occur at GE2020, he won't see it as cause to step down.

on what basis do you assume that?

He is the best bet Labour have,

No. No he's not.

we have tried labour lite and it didnt work

Labour lite is the only thing which worked.

First you chose the wrong Miliband, then you picked Corbyn rather than somebody sensible.

Now you're stuck.

It is Tory lite which currently dominates parliament. This is the era of "lite".

If only David had beaten the goliath's of the unions.

I've said this already in the thread, but why do they get a vote?

Other party donors don't get a vote unless they're also members. Why don't union members become Labour members if they want to vote? In fact why don't they become members if they want to give money to Labour?

Why does a union affiliated to Labour need anything other than to go around telling it's members that they could do worse than join the Labour party?

It all seems rather dodgy.
