Why do you want Labour destroyed?

It seems rather extreme language.

Has that particular party done something so terrible against you, that you seek its destruction, or do you just want to see the destruction of everything that you happen to disagree with?

¿ Right. Sure. Absolutely. Because that's what "destroyed" means in this context. ¿

it will be interesting to see what kind of ground game they play. But I would expect most of them to really want to win this one. It would be a real prize for them as they haven't won a safe seat like Stoke since they amazingly won Newcastle central in 1983. They'll want to win it even more than Copeland.

however some Tories will want Labour to just hang on because that's exactly what they want Corbyn to do - and for as long as possible.

I think now that the Conservatives have come out for hard Brexit, a UKIP MP has almost as much value as a Conservative one. At least until 2020.

The Tories want this one. It would almost be like winning Ebbw Vale. Amazing.

I still think the likeliest outcome that Labour will just hang on by a few hundred.

UKIP's new leader Paul Nuttall is apparently going to run there.

Is it really front page news though, or is it that unusual that Tim Farrons name gets mentioned.

Makes a change from Nigel, he always avoided elections.

I see Paul Nuttall is to run for election.

I see him as far more dangerous than the buffoon Farage.

He comes across as less self seeking and more serious.

He is one to be watched.

UKIP when they had their raison d'être never had an MP elected, wunderkind Nigel failed to be elected seven times, they had two defectors from another party, one of whom lost his seat running under a UKIP ticket at the 2015 GE.

Nutall is an ex-Tory councillor, Wolfe was thumped back to the Tories by his UKIP mates, Farage is rumoured to be in line for the Lords nominated by an unelected Tory PM

What evidence is there to suggest UKIP will usurp,Labour ?

Its a bit extreme, Paul Nuttall is dangerous, when you think Corbyn is an ok bloke.

Where have I said Corbyn is an OK bloke?

He is a fluffy pinkoe, a brexiter and a sell out.

A Labour party thread. What better place to post this?!

It is about the end of the labour party, or so the title says.

Where else to post it?

Do you not see this as the beginning of the end?

Because I do.
