Douglas J
Who do I complain to about a solicitor and them sharing my personal information to someone I requested they didn't give it too? First ask the solicitor for their complaints process and that should tell you.

L00b
Who do I complain to about a solicitor and them sharing my personal information to someone I requested they didn't give it too?The solicitor's firm first, under their internal complaint procedure. If you don't do that first, the Legal Ombudsman would only send you 'back' to do it. So you might as well do it right first time If the internal complaint procedure fails to resolve the issue to your satisfaction, then contact the SRA ('Solicitors Regulation Authority') to determine initially, whether your should escalate to the Legal Services Ombudsman or to the SRA itself: the issue is that, from your OP, there may have been a failure to comply with professional obligations, rather than (or in addition to) poor service. The Legal Ombudsman deals with instances of poor service. The SRA deals with failures to comply with professional obligations. You need to find out which corresponds to your complaint
tzijlstra
The official route to get advice about your claim is via the Legal Ombudsman (legalombudsman.org.uk), I've done some consulting for them in the past, very good organisation that will point you in the right direction.
