House clubs/late clubs?

Hi all,

 

Relatively new to going out in Sheffield, wondering if there's any recommendations for a decent house club this weekend, or one more oriented to dance music as opposed to R&B etc?

 

Also, anywhere open later than 3am-ish? Been to a few in London with 7am close and it really makes the night.

You're probably best getting a copy of Exposed magazine or similar for full listings - you can get it in most cafes, clothes shops etc in town

 

In town you've got Tank, Code Warehouse and very recently opened Area all doing dance nights. Plug has mainly mainstream/studenty nights on - but there are outside promotions in the mid sized room with some interesting stuff.

 

Outside of town there's a big warehousey type scene with Hope Works, the Night Kitchen, Arch9 and Yellow Arch all being used by various nights/promoters for techno & house nights (as well as other sorts of nights) all going on until whenever o'clock

Genuine thanks for the heads up bud - going to give Tank a shot as the others don't seem to be on this weekend, but will keep the others in mind for a few weeks time. Cheers.

I'd imagine most clubs are getting geared up for the students getting back - but give it a few weeks and you won't be able to move for nights

tank is the main club in sheffield for house music at the moment but the crowd can be a little rowdy
