fabgirl
I remember having a passport to leisure. It used to get me and my mates into upperthorpe baths for the splash session every weekday in the 6 week holidays for £1. Brill.

All free in the 1980's? I think most things were free like swimming ,tennis etc but some stuff you got at greatly reduced prices
alchresearch
Awesome, was just thinking of this yesterday. Used to play on the putting and bowling greens at Woodhouse Community Centre, as well as Pitch 'n' Putt at High Hazels.

It wasn't free it was paid by the ratepayers.
