redfox
http://www.cps.gov.uk/news/latest_news/new_domestic_abuse_law_introduced/ It may help to understand something of the law - as with every criminal case you need evidence, from the victim, maybe supported by photographs of injuries, medical examination, other witnesses who could speak of overhearing / witnessing acts of abusive conduct etc http://www.southyorks.police.uk/sites/default/files/domestic_abuse_safety_WEB.pdf Edited September 2, 2016 by redfox grammar change
vwkittie
I don't really know but I'd imagine a good start might be to keep any abusive texts/messages/emails and to start a detailed diary of behaviour including dates and times of any incidents. tzijlstra
Hi Does anyone know how emotional abuse can be proven? This is an incredibly sensitive subject and I highly recommend contacting charities that deal with this area or, alternatively, ringing 101 to ask them for advice. Start at napac.org.uk and speak to them.
