But don't tell me Jeremy Corbyn isn't an effective opposition. He has single-handedly galvanised politics like no other.

No he hasn't. He has galvanised a minority fringe group who are alienating voters who would normally vote labour. The party is being destroyed aided and abetted by folk like you.

No one is opposing the tories because labour are fighting themselves and everyone else is laughing at them.

It's not rational to operate on the assumption that the most unlikely things will happen.

Some folk see the stupidity of the labour party membership and assume that the electorate has been similarly infiltated and is equaly gullible. It isn't.

I know a lot of Labour supporters. They deserve better than to have their party destroyed by Momentum.

But I really think it's too late now. The insurgency has become too powerful and too much of the party longing for more full-on socialism has got caught up in it. Momentum have momentum now and they'll stop when they crash the party into a cliff.

"I’m sure you’ve picked this up yourself. The diversity of this crowd is interesting. They’re not all young. They’re of all ages. Sometimes they’re people who were politically active years ago [and] have come back, as well as a lot of young people who’ve come into politics for the first time…

There are people who come up to me who are saying: ‘I’ve never been involved in politics before. I’m interested in what you have to say because I’m interested, particularly, in the economic argument that you have to actually re-balance society away from inequality towards equality"
