GOLDEN OLDIE Posted September 17, 2016 Share Posted September 17, 2016 I know I'm old but, does anyone else remember a garden for the Blind that was on High Street in the 1950s? Where the Halifax is now used to be Saxones shoe shop, and this garden was there. I remember my mother taking me in through big gates. I think you paid a small donation to the Blind charities.
