Chrissoftley
Cheaper long term doesnt seem to matter these days, all that does is keeping within this years budget.
jaffa1
The ones on the narrow road up the side of Paradise Sq (Paradise St??) have been relaid by Amey. Nice job too. There were no need to relay them, they have been there for years and still in good nick. The council are just wasting our money as usual. ---------- Post added 01-10-2016 at 22:58 ---------- Why the hell would we want cobbled streets as opposed to tarmac? Cobbled streets have lasted hundreds of years, tarmac doesn't last half as long as seen when it wears away and the cobbles come smiling through.
