El Cid
The duties of a director of a UK company are - "To act within powers (regulation 16). ... To act in a way the director considers (in good faith) is most likely to promote the success of the company for the benefit of its members as a whole (or, if relevant, other purposes specified in the constitution)." Could the UK Government change the duties of a UK company, that would improve the lives of UK citizens?
tlangdon12
One improvement would be to require directors to minimise the impact on the environment of the company's operations: "To take decisions with regard to the impact on the environment"
